Employment and induced economic activity

The recovery in the domestic market, though slight, has allowed factories to stopthe staffing table adjustments they have been doingsince the housing bubble bursta decade ago. In 2018,a 5% rise in hiring of own workforce was achieved, although the recovery has been more noticeable on external suppliers. On this scope, there was an increase of 11%, which places indirect employment at the same level of thesector’s own workforce.
