Ciment Català has sponsored the international conference Cemtech Europe 2022, which is organized annually by the specialized sectoral portal CemTech.com, and which was held in Barcelona between 2 and 5 October. CemTech is a leading industry conference and exhibition in Europe, and this edition has attracted more than 300 delegates from 40 countries for a two-day program that has addressed all aspects surrounding the decarbonisation of the cement industry.
The conference included interventions by leaders of the sector, such as Isidoro Miranda, president of CEMBUREAU, (European Association of Cement Manufacturers), Aniceto Zaragoza, director general of Oficemen, (Association of Cement Manufacturers of Spain) or Julio Rodríguez-Izquierdo, CEO of Cementos Molins, S.A., among many others of international scope. The speaker program was also supported by an exhibition with the main equipment suppliers of the global cement industry and a visit to the facilities of Cementos Molins Industrial, S.A., in Sant Vicenç dels Horts. The president of Ciment Català, Salvador Fernández Capo, was also present at CemTech Europe 2022.
